Wheelchair Basketball

In February 2025 all the children participated in wheelchair basketball led by Nova Sports. This was a fantastic opportunity. For some children this was their first experience of working with people who use a wheelchair and for all children it was the first time they had travelled in a wheelchair. The children were surprised by how quickly they were able to move their wheelchair, not only forwards but backwards and turning in all directions. The children loved playing tag games to increase their wheelchair movement skills before starting to play basketball!
