11 November 2024

On the 11th November the whole school came together at 11 o’clock to keep the two minutes silence, before our wreaths of poppies were laid. This is a special day in which the children learn about our British values and demonstrate our Trust value of respect. The children learn about why we have Remembrance Day and the significance of a poppy. They also saw how the nation was led by King Charles on Remembrance Sunday, when wreaths of poppies were laid at the Cenotaph.
                                                                                 We will remember them.
